Creighton Spring Health Fair - Reading / Writing Event

Eat This-Not That was the topic of our annual health fair event. This event was hosted by our Creighton Enrichment team and was meant to raise awareness to what is quickly becoming a childhood epidemic. Diabetes. More and younger kids are showing signs of insulin intolerance, which will lead to early-onset Diabetes. During this event we had a special guest doctor from Sadler Clinic discuss this with students and parents. There were exercise demonstrations, a bike raffle, and healthy foods for our Creighton families.

   Our teachers also held a reading and writing event in the classrooms. It was a great way to show off what our kids are learning and to emphasize the importance of continuing their education at home. Packets were sent home with fun reading and writing exercises.
